Treatment re-start

Lindsey is finally getting her second day of chemo treatment, after a 1 day break........It took all day to get a new PICC line inserted, as they have had so many issues with her veins. They finally have a usable line in place and she is getting her chemo this evening. Hopefully, we will have no more glitches and she will receive her third and final day of chemo tomorrow night, and then come home on Saturday. We were really worried that they would not be able to re-start her treatment, and that would not have been good. Thankfully, Jacob arrived late this afternoon, and her spirits rose immediately ~ when he walked into the room she broke into the first smile we've seen in days! Jacob is spending the night on the couch in her hospital room. Unfortunately, he was not able to bring the puppy because we are spending all day at the hospital and there's no one to care for him here right now. Shelley has completed her semester also, and she is here with us for a few days. She will be going to Savannah with her boyfriend Mike's family for the weekend, but will return home on Monday and stay here for the rest of the break.
