Back in the Hospital

Lindsey is such a trooper ~ she was forcing those pills down all weekend long, and fighting off the nausea with all of the meds they gave us, but it finally got to her. Monday morning she just couldn't do it anymore. Her stomache finally rebelled. When we got to the clinic, they took one look at her grey coloring and sunken eyes and said "no, this just won't do!" They don't want her to have to feel this badly EVER ! They put her in the hospital today so that they could give her the rest of her chemotherapy in a controlled situation where they can really control the nausea and stay ahead of it. If you are taking pills (and boy was she taking pills) there's a chance that they won't stay down; but if they give you the medications through an IV, it's staying where it belongs and working much faster and much longer.
