Feeling Better

Lindsey was more active and felt a little better today. Jacob took her into the doctor's office to have her dressing changed on her catheter, and they also drew blood. Her blood numbers looked okay, but since she was a little sluggish, they gave her an infusion of fluids which took about an hour. After that she perked up and felt stronger. The newlyweds left Atlanta late in the afternoon and will spend the weekend at their home on Lookout Mountain. Her doctor wants to see her on Monday afternoon to check on her, so they will come back here on Monday morning. Lindsey has a second chemo infusion scheduled for next Wednesday, so they will most likely remain with us for several days next week. Progress on the basement is moving along. We're hoping to have the heat/air, electrical and plumbing roughed-in by the end of next week. I picked out kitchen cabinets today, and the installer will come out to measure the space sometime next week.
