Lindsey is at home and resting comfortably. She was released at about 8:30 this evening. She had a lot of nausea today, mostly related to the antibiotics they gave her every 6 hours for the past few days. Once they gave her medicine for it, she went in and out of sleep most of the day, and they administered her chemo while she dozed. She hasn't eaten much in the past 24 hours, but she had a good meal when she got home, and will probably sleep through the night. She has a lot of catching up to do, since you don't get much sleep in a hospital. They wake you up to give you sleeping pills ! We were right next to the nurses station and it was quite noisy, and, of course, they are always poking you and sticking you and waking you ! Hospitals are no place for sick people who need rest ~
