In the Hospital

Hi everyone: Well, the infection in her bloodstream hasn't gone away yet. Monday, she was scheduled for her chemo, but they drew blood and sent her home; Tuesday, they decided to go ahead and give her the chemo after all. About an hour after the treatment was over, Lindsey and I were in a store looking at wigs for her, and she started to get the chills. It was the same episode she had been experiencing at night over the past week. We got back into the car, called the doctor's office and they decided to admit her into Fayette Community Hospital so that we could get rid of this bacteria once and for all. They pulled out the PICC Line that is the source of the bacteria, and put her on IV antibiotics. We will find out today what they plan on doing after this. I'll post something again as soon as we know.
