- February 22-26 Take Oral Busulfane Chemotherapy at home
- February 26-28 Administration of High Dose Chemo at BMT Clinic
- March 2 Stem Cells Transplant Day
From now on, we really need to be careful about who and what Lindsey is exposed to. Once the chemo starts, her immune system will be destroyed, and she will be very susceptible to the viruses and bacteria that are floating around. We will be making daily trips up to Northside Hospital during this time, and continuing for about 40 days after transplant. We'll be there for 6-8 hours daily. Any time that her temperature is over 100.5, she is admitted to the hospital. That will most likely occur immediately after transplant, and she could be in the hospital for a week or two. When she is in the hospital, she will have internet access, so send her lots of Emails !
