What a day !

The move was hectic, but went very well. The movers were expected at 3 o'clock, but arrived 3 hours late; good thing ~ the last of the workers left at about 3 o'clock; it gave us a chance to do some clean-up before the furniture arrived. Thanks to all of our friends who showed up to help; Sally and Calvin Daley, Karen and Bill Thurber, Lehua Graham (who brought crock pots of homemade chili and soup), Nancy Conner (our personal interior designer), Lee Ann Hanie and her daughter Lydia, Marci Castro and her daughter Jenna, Judy Schneider, and of course, Grandma and Aunt Danka. Many thanks to Diane and Kyle Bartels, who couldn't make it personally, but sent over pizza to feed the troops! Shelley is coming home this weekend and she will be working on the window treatments with Vickie Green, (her friend Tori's Mom), and Shannon Shockley. They'll also be watching all the dogs because Andy and I will be in Charleston for the weekend. Lindsey and Jacob are up at the Faber's lake house, and she called when she arrived and said it was fabulous ~ they will be relaxing for the weekend, and will come home Sunday. Monday afternoon, Lindsey will have a PET Scan, and then the doctor's appointments will begin. Too much going on all at once.
