Christmas Surprise !

We had a wonderful Christmas at the Wegrzyn household. Shelley got engaged ! ! ! She is betrothed to Mike Narveson, and he and his family showed up at the doorstep at noon and he proposed right at the front door...........it was very exciting! Of course, everyone knew it was going to happen except for Shelley, and Lindsey orchestrated the whole thing, including text messages back and forth with Mike while they were enroute. Lindsey felt good all day, running on sheer adrenelin, and it seems to have lasted into today, as she is shopping right now. We're hoping her energy increases as she gets further out from her last chemo treatment, and that she avoids exposure to flu bugs and the like. Jacob is arriving tomorrow and will take Lindsey up to the Mountain for New Year's with his family. If you happen to see Lindsey over the next week, offer her something to eat . . . we're trying to fatten her up......! If all is well, my next post will probably not be until after her pre-transplant testing on January 4. Happy New Year !
