Neutropenic

Lindsey's bloodwork showed that her counts have dropped quite a bit. You might think that is bad, but that is exactly what the doctor's want. (She is going to be hanging out at home this weekend to avoid exposure to infections, but she feels fine.) The numbers are low enough to begin her neupogen shots. This will raise her counts up and encourage her stem cells to move from her bone marrow into her bloodstream. She will begin giving herself twice a day shots in the morning. When her counts are off the charts, they will do the stem cell collection.
