Day Seven

Not much sleeping going on around here. The nurses woke her up every hour to check her vitals, drew blood at 2 o'clock in the morning, and then gave her an IV of blood starting at 4 o'clock.......typical night in the hospital ! Just wanted to encourage anyone who can to donate blood to Atlanta Blood Services. They provide the blood products for everyone undergoing a Transplant and these patients are given lots of blood - sometimes every day for months. Their number is 404.459.8744, and they can always use help. Tell them you are donating on behalf of Lindsey Wegrzyn. Lindsey's mouth and throat are very sore today, so they are giving her medications to help with that. She's drinking "Boost" and "Ensure" - orange flavor - but can't eat otherwise.
