DAY TWENTY ONE !!

This is a benchmark day of sorts. Today, Lindsey will be told whether or not she can get the weekend off from our daily 5 to 7 hour clinic visits ~ the staff has told her she should get her reprieve, but the official word comes from the doctor, of course ! Once she gets a weekend off, they generally begin to consider cutting her 7 day schedule down to 3 or 4 days a week ~ that would be awesome. Last night we had a minor scare ~ Lindsey had a reaction to Compazine. She takes Compazine when her stomache doesn't quite feel right, to ward off any queasiness or nausea that might decide to rear it's ugly head. Thank goodness we have our own private doctor right next door ~ Robbie is our guardian angel, and she immediately took charge of the situation and we gave her benadryl and prednizone. Within an hour she was starting to feel normal again, although the prednizone did give her quite a kick. It's hard to sleep after taking something like that, but today she feels great in spite of it! Her blood count numbers are really high today ~ I think she "willed" them to go up so that she could get the weekend off ! Jacob is coming down today to visit and she is looking forward to that................have a wonderful weekend ~ I know that Lindsey will !
