Day 25 - sorry I haven't posted lately !

Hi everyone: Sorry I haven't posted lately, I know a lot of you check this every day to see how Lindsey is doing ~ the answer is GREAT ! ! ! She had a good Saturday, Jacob was here and they had an 'outing' for a golf cart ride. Sunday morning, they sat in the balcony at Church (because no one else goes up there), but she was very tired and not feeling great. Once we convinced her to take some meds, she perked right up again for Monday and Tuesday. Monday she went into the clinic and received her daily bag of IV fluids. They gave us Tuesday off ! All of her blood numbers look good except for her platelets. They dropped from 100 to 67. The doctor said we will watch that number and see if she needs to receive a platelet infusion sometime this week. Thanks to everyone who has responded to our plea for blood products ~ lots of you made the effort, and Atlanta Blood Services (and Lindsey) thanks you ! I promise I will be more diligent with reports on the blog, no more big breaks in the entries ~
