Another Good Day!

We are continuing to see progress in Lindsey's recovery ~ she's really beginning to feel better each day. Last night she slept through the night ! That was a huge milestone, because she needs to sleep normally to have the energy to get through the day. We arrived at the clinic at 7:30 this morning and she just received fluids, so we were out of there by noon. Her platelets dropped about 10 points, but they are still just watching them. They said that is normal for this point in her progress and it happens to just about everyone. I don't think they know why it happens, but it does. If they rise on their own, she won't have to get a platelet infusion. We'll see ! They are talking about taking out her catheter if her platelets improve ~ maybe next week ! Tomorrow is a day off, and Jacob is arriving tomorrow evening for the weekend. He will take her to the clinic on Friday.
