lots of down time

Since we have been here, we've had three short visits to the doctor's office preparing for the Cyberknife treatment. Lindsey had a CT Scan, a PET Scan, and of course, we have had two visits with Dr. Medbery to discuss the treatments and go over the scans. That has given us a lot of free time, and we've been keeping busy. Andy, Jacob, Lindsey and I played 9 holes of golf, went to the Oklahoma State Fair, and have gone to a few nice restaurants in town. Jacob's grandparents came up from Texas to be with us on Saturday evening and Jacob also has a great-aunt and uncle who lives here; they all had dinner together last night. Also, the former Pastor of NMPC, Pastor Mark, is now here in Oklahoma. We all attended services at his Church this morning, and Lindsey and Jacob went to Pastor Mark's house for dinner after the service. Pastor Mark was the Pastor at the Church they attended while they were both students at Mercer. It's been nice to have a lot of company to support us while we are here. Lindsey will have her first treatment either tomorrow or Tuesday (they'll call us) and we are expecting 3 or 4 sessions. That should get us on our way home Thursday or Friday.
