Drywall installation
Down here in the South, they call it "sheetrock", but, whatever you prefer to call it, it's going in today. We're making progress in the basement; we've ordered the cabinets, and the plumbing and electrical is roughed in. We're moving very quickly, thanks to our neighbor Don who has orchestrated the entire thing. God has blessed us with wonderful neighbors and friends - we've got a doctor on one side and a contractor on the other, and they have helped us enormously. We are clueless when it comes to this building stuff, of course, and Don has lined up all the sub-contractors, handled all the negotiations and keeps us on the straight and narrow. Needless to say, his help has saved us money and time. Jacob and Lindsey's lease is up at the end of November, and we should have the basement finished in plenty of time.
Hopefully, Lindsey and Jacob will have another relaxing weekend. They are planning to give her a platelet infusion and a shot of Procrit on Monday, because her numbers are not as high as they would like them to be prior to a chemo treatment. God willing, they will be able to give her the scheduled treatment next Wednesday. Please pray for that !
