Still Hanging In There !

Sorry I haven't posted since Tuesday, there are really no changes to report. Lindsey is beyond the point of having to be hospitalized, since her counts are rising steadily. They gave Lindsey Neupogen to raise her white count for a while, but she isn't getting that anymore. We expect her white count to fluctuate, but right now it's very high. That helps Lindsey keep from getting sick from viral or bacterial infections. That's good. She is also still attached to the Prograf pump 24/7 which is helping Shelley's immune system take hold. She will be disconnected from that pump in a few days and put on oral Prograf for anti-rejection. She may begin to show some signs of GVHD once off the pump. Hard to say. Right now, she's feeling good and hanging in there! Jacob went to Lookout Mountain this weekend for his brother's 21st birthday, so I took Lindsey to the clinic today. Her Dad will take her tomorrow, and then Jacob will return later on Sunday.
