Unbelievable !

The last time Lindsey had a triple lumen catheter put in, we went to Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta for the procedure. She was very happy with the way things went during that outpatient procedure, so, of course, we wanted to return there again. Well, this time it didn't go as well as we had hoped. It was the same group of doctors, but the hospital messed up. When she and Jacob got there, they thought she was having a PICC Line inserted, sent her to the wrong procedure room, the pre-op stuff was all wrong, everything was wrong. Lindsey had to set them straight about what she needed to have inserted, and they realized their mistake and sent her home. So, today was a waste of time medically speaking. However, at home, it was a different story. We began the construction on the basement, and made lots of progress. We had a wall knocked down and opened the room up beautifully. More work will be done tomorrow on the basement. Lindsey and Jacob will try again tomorrow with the triple lumen catheter - this time at our local Piedmont-Fayette Hospital. Hopefully, they will do a better job. If it is done correctly, they will go right up stairs for the first chemo treatment and a long awaited visit with Dr. Ballard. We'll keep you informed. Let's all pray that they know what they are doing tomorrow.
